The fusing of crushed glass and glass powders has been used to decorate sheets of glass for millenia, with most of the available techniques being perfected by the medieval period. This doesn’t mean there is nothing new to be done though, the use of layers of colour and multiple layers of glass, give unlimited options to make beautiful modern objects.
