The Kelpie is a mythical creature of Scottish legend – a water horse that draws people and children into the water and to their fate!
It was essential to keep the mystical feel and watery setting for this piece. The use of only clear glass and fine hand wrought ironwork is deliberate and gives a weightless floating feel, despite the imposing size of this piece.
Made from clear Bullseye glass, hand wrought iron and burr elm, the sculpture is 45cm / 18″ tall.
