This beautiful glass comes in the stylised form of that perenial symbol of Scotland, the Thistle. The walls of the bowl of the glass are very heavy, giving a rich deep green and a weighty feel in the hand. The bowl is cast in deep green glass, with a violet rim – iconic stuff. Delicately incised on the inner rim is “cheers, skol, slainte” invoking the mixed history of the North East of Scotland where, whatever your tribe, a fine welcome awaits.
The glass holds a good measure of the amber stuff, the only other things you will need are a good chair and a roaring fire!
